Scavenger Hunt Photography
This image was photographed in the 80's. It was in black and white. The building shown is a pub called" Queen of Denmark" at the corner of Lupus Street and Aylesford Street in London.
The pictures below is my replication of the image above:
I took these pictures at the same angle as the original image. I used a digital camera to shoot the image and the outcome was in colour unlike the original image which was in black and white. I could have used Photoshop to change the colour to black and white, but I wanted to see if it would make a lot of difference seeing the picture in colour. There wasn't much difference though in my opinion. The orientation of the camera was horizontal and the shutter speed was F 1/125.
It was cloudy on the day I took these picture, so I moved around to get the right amount of light into the camera. The pub is now called 'The Gallery'. In the original photo, there are no tables outside the pub unlike the images I took. There are also hanging plants outside the pub and more street lighting
